Midwife (France and Hong Kong registered)
Raised in a medical community in Paris, I have always been passionate
about obstetrics and baby care. I enrolled in the School of Midwifery Saint-Antoine (AP-HP) in Paris and obtained my degree in 2005. From 2005 to 2009, I worked at Beaujon Hospital (AP-HP) in the following sectors: consultations, high-risk pregnancies, labour ward, obstetric emergencies, postnatal ward and family planning. During these four years of practicing in Paris, I specialized in two areas and received two university degrees: Degree "maternal conditions and pregnancy" (University Paris XI, 2007) and Degree "contraception, abortion" (University Paris VI, 2009). In 2009, I moved to Hong Kong with my husband. I studied for 1 year and took an exam at the University of Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin in 2010. Then I became registered with the HK midwife Council in Hong Kong in 2011, thus able to practice in all sectors of midwifery, and worked at Matilda Hospital. From 2011 to 2015 I worked at a private midwives clinic with patients giving birth in both private and public hospitals and specialised in consultations, antenatal check-ups, labour care support, postnatal care, and perineal rehabilitation. During this time, I expanded my knowledge of how to achieve a less painful or totally painless delivery. Moreover I also studied all aspects of breastfeeding support. My focus now is to work with mothers from different countries and target their individual needs throughout pregnancy, delivery, and the postpartum experience. We can navigate the private and public systems to help ensure you have a personalized experience you can feel confident about. I've got 2 daughters born in HK in 2011 and 2014. |
