Clinical Hypnotherapy
The most effective way to reach your Subconscious Mind in a non-invasive lasting and permanent way is thru Hypnotherapy. This is because hypnotherapy accesses the theta wave of your brain which is a deep relaxed state of mind where you effectively become aware of those beliefs, those habits, those emotional responses, those subconscious blueprint. And when you become aware of your subconscious blueprint, you can change them.
What is Hypnosis?
Forget what you see in a movie.
Simply put hypnosis as meditation with a goal. It is like coaching your subconscious mind.
It feels just like meditation but instead of releasing, letting go of thought, desires, you are intentionally creating new neuro pathways in your brain, new beliefs, new emotional responses that will support who you want to be, how you want to behave, how you want to feel day to day.
Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to bring you into that relaxed theta wave brain; state where you get to work on a goal which is more important to you.
Hypnosis is a natural familiar state.
You move in and out all day long. You have already access it thousands of times in your life.
For instance, driving for long distances, watching tv, listening to music, working on a project you are passionate about. Flow state is a brain wave state. Hypnosis is the theta brain wave state. In this more relaxed state, you can make powerful changes to your life. Because it is the state where you are the most receptive.
It is where you access your most potent problem-solving capabilities.
More relaxation means a heighten capabilities to access your creativity in order to make deepen lasting permanent positive changes in your life.
Can everybody get hypnotised?
Yes! As long as they are willing to and give permission to the therapist.
How does a session work?
The session starts by discussing your goal.
Then, you will choose to be lying down or seating comfortably and close your eyes to get free! The first part is what we call the induction – a long and relaxing guided technique helping you relax so deeply that you access theta waves brain state.
The second part of a session is where the therapy work actually happens. You will be listening to my voice and you will be able to talk and answer my questions. At all times you can move your body if you want, you can talk, and you will remember everything. The worst thing that can happen to you is fall asleep J And if this happens, I will gently bring you back to the deep relaxed state you were in to continue the session.
The third and last part is emerging back into your conscious awareness and debrief with the therapist.
What is hypnotic state comparing to being awake and sleeping?
When awake, your conscious mind is awake and has control.
When sleeping, your conscious mind is not awake and has no control
It is different when you are in hypnotic state. Your conscious mind is awake and has no control and your subconscious mind is awake and has control. You are awake but the control is less. It means if you want to move your hand you can but it feels different. It is heavier. The more the conscious mind loses control the deeper you are in hypnotic state.
How long does a session last?
Between 60 to 90 minutes. Always better to plan your time for 90 minutes, as there is no point to be stressed by the time when the objective is to relax so deeply to get access to your subconscious mind.
All sessions – Hypnotherapy or Coaching can be done in French or English. You can even learn Hypnotherapy with Alice. It is a great way to better understand how your mind works and you don’t need to become a hypnotherapist for that.
